ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

01 / THE EXHIBITIONA GLOBAL INDUSTRY MEETING POINT
INTRODUCING IMDX 2027

Where possibility
meets progress.

A dedicated platform connecting upstream mining, mineral processing, smart technology and high-value downstream opportunities.

WHAT IS THE EXHIBITION?

One meeting place for the entire mining and downstream value chain.

Indonesia Mining & Downstream Industries Exhibition 2027 brings together industry players, technology providers and decision-makers to exchange ideas, explore partnerships and shape what's next for the sector.

Designed as a business-to-business exhibition, IMDX 2027 connects the sectors behind the industry's transformation — from exploration and extraction to mineral processing, metallurgy, automation, responsible mining and high-value downstream applications.

Exhibitors can introduce equipment, services and practical solutions to potential partners, while industry professionals can discover emerging technologies and exchange perspectives. Planned conference and networking activities provide further opportunities for dialogue and collaboration.

MINING & DOWNSTREAM INDUSTRIESTurning resources into new possibilities.

In recent years, the Indonesian government has continued to advance its mineral downstreaming strategy, including export restrictions on raw nickel, bauxite and tin concentrates and requirements for domestic smelting and processing. This has rapidly increased demand for smelting, beneficiation and deep-processing equipment. At the same time, mining areas are accelerating electrification and intelligent transformation, with photovoltaic microgrids and heavy-equipment electrification projects being deployed in major mining regions such as Sulawesi and Kalimantan. Indonesia's annual mining-equipment market has reached approximately US$2.5 billion, with continuing growth in demand for smart mining, green-mine construction and downstream processing equipment.
